Leased vehicles have a different process than owned cars because the leasing company retains ownership. However, you do have options.

One path is to complete your lease and then trade in the vehicle once you own it. Alternatively, some lease agreements allow for early termination or buyout, which could let you own the car and then trade it in. Your lease agreement and the leasing company's policies determine what's possible.

The best approach is to bring your lease documents and call us at (847) 593-4700. Our finance team can review your specific lease, discuss your options, and help you navigate the transition to a new Volkswagen. We work through these situations regularly and will find a path that works for you. Let's get you into your next vehicle!
