Great question-you absolutely can trade in a car that still has an outstanding loan. We handle this regularly and make the process smooth.

Here's how it works: when you trade in your vehicle, we work with your current lender to pay off the remaining balance using your trade-in value. If your trade-in is worth more than what you owe, that extra equity can be applied toward your new Volkswagen purchase. If you owe more than the trade-in value (being "upside down"), we can discuss financing options to cover the difference.

Our finance team manages all the coordination with your current lender and handles the title transfer, so you don't have to worry about the paperwork. To get specifics on your payoff amount and how it affects your new vehicle deal, call us at (847) 593-4700. We'll make sure everything works out in your favor!
